Routine Cleaning: After each handling session, wipe off dirt, sweat, and debris with a damp cloth. For deeper cleans, use a glycerine-based leather cleaner or gentle saddle soap on un-dyed surfaces. Avoid scrubbing hand-painted or color-rubbed tool lines aggressively.
Conditioning: Apply a quality leather conditioner periodically to keep the 8-foot Argentine saddle leather supple and pliable in hand. Avoid heavy oiling over bright colored dye sections to prevent bleeding or discoloration.
Hardware Maintenance: Wipe the polished chrome bolt snap and chain links with a soft dry cloth to prevent tarnish and moisture buildup. Keep the trigger mechanism clear of dirt and debris.
Storage: Store hanging straight in a cool, dry, well-ventilated tack room away from direct sunlight and extreme heat to prevent cracking, fading, or mildew.

Intended Use: For supervised equine leading and ground handling only. Not intended for turn-out or cross-tying. Do not tie a horse using a lead chain. Lead chains are strictly for active hand-leading under direct supervision. Never leave a horse unattended with a chain lead attached. Never attach the chain directly around the horse's neck or legs. Never loop chain under chin.
Safe Handling: Never wrap the lead or chain around your hand, wrist, or body.
Inspection: Routinely check hardware, snaps, chain links, and leather stitching for wear. Discontinue use immediately if any component is damaged or compromised.

Equine Products: Halters, leads, and other equine products must be unused and free from dirt, hair, odor, or signs of use. All tags and packaging must be original. We cannot accept returns on products used by an equine or any other animal.
Multiple Packages: Items from the same order may occasionally ship in separate packages to ensure faster delivery or because they ship from different fulfillment centers. You will receive separate tracking links for each shipment.
